Mission

Founded in 2024, wayward son's mission is to create works of theatre that challenge  convention through a working structure of total collaboration, the adaptation of classic works in a modern context, and support of innovative new works. Through scrappy productions in intimate settings, wayward achieves spectacle with limited materials and actor-driven shows.

Founding Artistic Director,

Caitlin Morley

Caitlin Morley is a director and actor based in NYC. She has directed Twelfth Night (Play Phase Productions), Dry Land (Tufts University), The Wolves (Tufts University). Off Broadway credits include The Assassination of Julius Caesar (Bedlam, Assistant Director), Arcadia (Bedlam, Assistant Director), and Boston production, Angels in America Part 1 (Bedlam/Central Square Theatre, Assistant Director).Caitlin has a background in non-hierarchal theatre-making and a passion for creating opportunities for and community with emerging artists. She is the founder of Eleventh Hour Players.

Isabela Fernades

Isabela Fernandes is a Brooklyn-based actor, director, and producer who loves to spark joy and community through theater and live events. She has most recently performed in Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with 11th Hour Players, Twelfth Night with Play Phase Productions, Heard You Were Leaving with Columbia University, and The Chipper Man with Wednesday Nights Theater Company. She directed The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Kraine and is also the production manager and host for Dean Street Sessions.
